Spoiler
***The most exciting part was, of course, waiting for Rina to realize she's dating the emperor—while so many people (including her coworkers) already knew about her relationship with him long before she even figured out who he was — and their reactions were hilarious!
***The romance was slowwww. They really were like young teens experiencing their first love (well, maybe even like children, since teens these days are probably bolder than them. They're really innocent, getting embarrassed from just holding hands, but of course, all that changed after the very first part shown in the manhwa ( ˊ ꒳ ˋ )
***I also liked how pragmatic the FL was about being an extra in a novel from the very beginning. However, that part wasn't shown as much in the middle to later parts of the story. For example, her reluctance to get involved with the OG protagonists gradually faded, and it was never really mentioned how she felt about ending up with the OGML (since many isekai/transmigration stories usually have FLs feeling reluctant to be with the OGMLs because they know the original plot and feel like they're stealing the OG couple's happiness), well it's probably also because she didn't really realize Ed is the emperor for the longest time.
She did feel guilty when she accidentally messed up the plot and caused the OGFL to lose her chance to regress like in the original plot, but from that point onward, she did her best to help her-not by trying too hard to match her with the OGML (like what usually happens in other stories)
***The story ends with their wedding in the Empress Palace's greenhouse, the one Ed gifted to Rina and also the place where he proposed to her. Evetta (OGFL) officiates the ceremony as the saintess.
The emperor actually visited her the night before the wedding, when she was spending her last night with her family before getting married. He arrived uninvited, making Rina wonder if something was wrong, but it turned out he was there because he had a nightmare that she had run away before the wedding
But just so sad that we don't get to see their children :blobcatblush: I really thought she'd be pregnant near the end, but nope :(
***After finding out the true identity of her lover, Ed—the emperor—Rina asked for a week to sort out her thoughts.
Ironically, the event that led to her discovering his identity was the news that Everett Rojas (Ed's alias since meeting her, and also a real person—the emperor's aide whose identity he borrowed because of her misunderstanding) was supposedly the father of the Crown Princess of Bellot's baby
Naturally, Rina thought he had cheated on her and couldn't handle the heartbreak. She immediately started planning to leave for the Western Continent (which takes about a year for a round trip)
She was very thorough about leaving the empire:
wrote letters to her friends and family
canceled the lease on her house
shipped her belongings back to her family home, along with an explanation that she was going away
submitted a resignation letter to the Inspection Bureau via mail
bought a ship ticket to the Western Continent...
She only met Ed after she had finished all of that, on the second day after hearing the news of the Crown Princess's pregnancy. Unable to contain her emotions, she got angry at him, hit him (even though it had absolutely no effect on the ridiculously strong emperor), and shouted to the entire neighborhood that he was the father of the Crown Princess's baby
He confessed that he wasn't actually Everett Rojas and even offered to bring both the real Everett Rojas and the Crown Princess of Bellot to meet her as proof that he was innocent—and, as he shyly said, chaste (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)
He actually tried to tell her who he really was (he already planned to reveal it the day before), but Rina cut him off before he could explain. Based on his demeanor and habits, she was already convinced she had figured it out. She assumed he was probably another high-ranking aide working under the emperor. Then Ed asked whether she minded who he really was, she replied that she didn't mind (still thinking what he meant was working in the shadows for the emperor) > all of these led to Rina becoming possessive and claiming him as hers (just like in the first part of the manhwa)
After the misunderstanding about his identity as Everett Rojas was resolved, she went to the post office to retrieve her letters—but didn't check whether she had gotten all of them back.
Then she went to stay at her family home during the seven days she had requested to sort out her thoughts, since her belongings had already been delivered there and a new tenant had moved into her old rental house.
Meanwhile, Kyle received the massive bomb that was her resignation letter (dun dun dun! She didn't check whether she had retrieved all her letters, remember?)
Of course Kyle immediately reported it to the emperor, he panicked and concluded that he had been abandoned. After learning about her ship ticket to the Western Continent while investigating her whereabouts, he sealed the border to the Western Continent and dispatched elite troops to find her :3
Things only escalated from there
After discovering that she had gone to her hometown instead, he convinced himself that she was being clever and had bought the ship ticket as a decoy. He then came up with the theory that she was actually heading to another harbor near her hometown - the name of the town was Dietar i think?
When the emperor and his troops arrived at her hometown, her house was completely empty.
The reason?
Her family had gone on vacation to Dietar because it happened to be the twins' and the youngest sibling's academy vacation (the timing lol)
This only convinced the emperor that his assumptions was correct—that Rina was running away and had even brought her family with her. After that, he sealed all the border of the empire :3 (which has never been done before in the history of the empire)
So the emperor and his troops went off to Dietar.
Meanwhile, Rina was just playing on the beach with her youngest sister.
When they finally met, her little sister was already intimidated by the emperor's scary and intimidating presence, ask Rina to come to her quickly only for her to fall from the stairs and heard how the emperor loudly said "Do you plan to just eat the emperor and leave?" - which her 12-year-old sister unfortunately understood perfectly well.
The misunderstanding was resolved pretty quickly after that. Even after being crazed from the thoughts of her running away, the emperor immediately became very docile once he realized how angry she was after he said something inappropriate in front of her little sister (at this point, Kyle was already convinced that the strongest person on the continent was no longer the emperor, but Rina)
And after that, they used the excuse that they had received a tip about a large-scale smuggling operation. Rina insisted on it because she absolutely did not want to be remembered in history as the reason behind the empire's first-ever border closure.
Ironically, the excuse ended up becoming true—they uncovered substantial evidence that the temple had been selling the poor into slavery

After I saw a little spoiler, it turns out there's nothing to worry about with this story hahaha
Because they are all really very normal, even when the ogfl appeared, she was so normal that there was no need to worry about her at all ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
