i think either the town or gowon are stuck in an endless cycle that ends with gowon and the teacher’s death (no shit sherlock) when chap 43 came out i started to understand why the manhwa is called the hounds or sisyphus.
sisyphus is damned and destined to push the same boulder up a mountain of the underworld, and whenever he reaches the top the boulder rolls down and he has to repeat the same actions over and over in a timeless loop.
maybe the death of all villagers represent the boulder rolling down, making the loop restart, but i can’t wait to discover why this cycle exists in the first place and why
