Pretty much, yep. I think its confusing because the pacing is kinda everywhere and the plot makes no sense at times, so I get it.
I think probably because old man used the magic again but on both themselves so the MC was affected by it and lost his memories again
I'm kinda confused, so the Mc got into the novel, pretended to have amnesia but when he fell in the stairs basement with the old man he actually lost his memories? That's why he thinks he didn't do all Kane is saying. Is that right?
