i feel like the author is trying to set up the whole ‘he’s never dated someone before so he didn’t know how to control his emotions’ but that is not any type of an excuse for his to be continuously raping someone and abusing someone. there’s a simple answer he a HORRIBLE MAN, there is no excuse i could see the author setting up that can make me sympathetic w this horrible man. and the one they are setting up right now definitely isn’t helping their case.
