I’m quite shock at the reaction I’ve seen that people are hating on Baekhee because he’s “useless” and chose the gray hair prick but let’s remember Baekhee is a victim for people calling him “useless” is a insane thing to say people in real life have gone through things like this and that’s called victim blaming it’s not their fault at all Baekhee has been abused physically and sexually and has been gaslighted and manipulated through out the story he himself thinks he’s useless and feels guilty which is common for victims to feel and is unfortunate no one deserves to go through that or get blamed for that he isn’t “choosing” the gray hair loser he’s going with him BECAUSE he’s getting manipulated by him and wants to live a normal life and he thinks by having that normal life he will get it through the gray hair guy because of the power and money he has he thinks the gray hair guy is the only way to actually escape his loser of a father plus we can clearly see the gray hair guy isn’t normal he literally threatens Baekhee by using yang il woo and Baekhee doesn’t want anything to happen to Yang Il woo we can see that Baekhee is rapidly declining in his mental health it’s crazy how people blame him for that especially when people go through this in real life Baekhee isn’t a bad person at all matter of fact he’s very well written and a perfect realistic character of how other victims think in these type of situations it’s very depressing if you think he’s choosing the gray hair guy your completely wrong and the gray hair is is clearly using Baekhee’s mental state as a form to isolate him and use him all for himself Baekhee loves yang Il woo and Yang il woo loves him too I suggest people educate themselves on these types of topics because it’s not just insulting to the character that the author wrote realistically but also to people that have gone through this in real life and suffered to come to terms that they aren’t to blamed for what happened
