In chapter 123 nene asks manekitty if they have met before and he says that theyve not, BUT THIS IS IN THE OLD TIMELINE *BEFORE* NENE MAKE A CONTRACT. Manekitty apparently knows that his a soul in rock bottom that is bound by a contract to be their slave and stuff, since he at least knows that much he probably would keep his memory if he had yashiro by his side so yay. Just realized it but the fcked up timeline we are seeing is actually the og one, and the story we know was only possible thanks to yashiro making a contract with tge clock keepers. Kinda sad that the manga is apparently walking towards its end, but knowing aida and iro they will probably continue writing (I hope), well what conforts me is that nene and amane will at least stay toguether as clock keepers servants. Yay? I guess, Its kinda bittersweet but I didnt expect them to end up toguether at all so its a win (kinda), but nene will grow up in the timeline we know and, no pun intended, hanako will just be bound to the toilet forever, well at least our protagonist will not die and will in fact be able to construct a future, damn this ending is kind of happy actually lol.
