I don't understand why...

people are already saying the ML is basically going to rape the MC. Like, why are we jumping to that conclusion? Is it because we’ve been traumatized by so much black flag content and rape fetishization in these stories? I really hope it doesn’t go there.

The ML is basically someone who’s been yearning, dreaming, and obsessing over this person for YEARS, and now his self-control is finally slipping. He keeps saying, “In my dreams,” because he probably have imagined this exact scenario a hundred times already. This man has been suffering for so long that him being a little vulgar and unrestrained at this point isn’t exactly surprising.

And him being so insistent on keeping the MC there so they can finally address whatever is going on between them? I can understand that, too. Because if he leaves it up to the MC, they’ll probably keep dancing around the elephant in the room and never actually talk about it.

Even him getting hard is just a biological response. It doesn’t automatically mean he intends to act on it without consent.

I’m not saying the ML can do no wrong, but I genuinely don’t think his actions so far immediately point to him becoming a future rapist. Can we at least wait and see how the author handles this before jumping to the worst possible conclusion?
