I'm honestly tired of BL authors constantly feeding us non-consensual sex scenes and trying to pass them off as romance or intimacy. Is it really that difficult to write a steamy, passionate scene where BOTH characters actually want what's happening? Where both are enjoying themselves, communicating their desires, and willingly participating?
Consent does not make a sex scene less hot. If anything, mutual desire and genuine enthusiasm can make it so much better. Not every intimate scene needs to involve force, fear, pain, or one character being violated for the sake of drama.
PLEASE, BL AUTHORS, TAKE NOTES! Give us passion, chemistry, mutual pleasure, and consensual intimacy. We want to see both characters enjoying themselves, not one begging for it to stop while the other refuses to listen.
