I mean I get the ML doesn't want to get emotionally involved because the rainwater is a man and he can't get married to him but it doesn't excuse this behaviour! Wtf! He knew MC was naive enough he could just coax him and settle into some arrangements. It's like watching a teenage guy throwing tantrums and making things worse just because he can't get a hold on his emotions! He's already down bad for MC but acting like a piece of shit! Also, I feel bad for MC so much poor guy can not even find happiness with other people because of that weird energy! He can't even have anyone else than ML.
