I just watched a documentary about orcas that totally ruined the premise for me.
A resident orca pod had been helping their albino member survive, long enough that he's estimated to be about 15-16 years old when he was first spotted. It's very different from how it's "survival of the fittest" here in this manhwa. Typically, animals who have albinism or disabilities in general are targeted and killed as infants, because they are both physically and genetically weak. Ex.albino Chimpanzee baby was killed by the elder males days after being discovered by its own community
It's different for this Orca pod because they helped him, Iceberg, hunt. Orcas tend to stay with the pod they are born in and they do share their food with each other. Mothers are even shown to rip prey to divide amongst her children. This orca is lucky because he's born into a family that is at the top of the food chain. Really, who would be dumb enough to target a pod of the apex predators of the ocean??
