I feel so stupid for taking this manga so personally. I don't even like mangas. Yet here i am and I'm so disappointed. To me the author decided to put it to an end as fast as possible, and in doing so gave a meaningless ending that doesn't do any justice to the character, first of all to Yoshiki himself, which was drawn from the start as a loyal and noble boy capable of accepting the unacceptable for the one he loved. I didn't want Yoshiki to grieve forever but I also didn't want him to leave Hikaru behind like this, like he wasn't even the point anymore. It follows a logic that isn't coherent with the character.
