Youngju deffinitely one uped Heejae by apologizing, it's the bare minimum and he did it, so i think he really is trying to be a better person.
I do think this is liquor courage, and things would be better if he admits it to Garam in a clear mind but...I feel so bad for Garam that even a moment of warmth and skinship under influence brings me a sense of relief.

I know they will find each other soon but I didn't expect Garam to be in this state, and honestly I'm kinda glad he found Youngju in his lowest. I hope they talk aftee and stay as close friends at least...

I agree that Youngjo appears to try to be a better person. He seems to care and wanting to help Garam to get better. I was hoping that Youngjo would return to be Garams support, similar to how he did in the beginning of the story and he really did. Although getting close to Garam in the beginning was part of his plan but he later caught feeling for Garam and yearn for him. I remember that he sent a message to Naeum that he didnt want to work with her anymore after he realized his feelings for Garam, but that part was overlooked.

I like Youngjo that he admitted his wrongs. He is way less toxic than Heejae. He never forced himself on Garam but Heejae did. Also, I never once heard Heejae called Garam by his name. Is there a meaning behind this?
