I do wish he didnt have a terminal ilness and it was just the stress of it all making him caugh up blood. Henry 2 was killed by his hands and Henry 1 died in his place. I'm going to imagine Richard finally able to know peace with the only person who always loved his whole self unlike the other two love interests. Even if he can't love Catesby I can imagine them living peacefully in a cottage somewhere far away. I think after all the pain and suffering he's been through all this time it's something he's owed.
