I can feel the end coming and I'm actually happy. One thing I like about Shutline is that it could've gone the same route of Passion/Codename Anastasia or other plot heavy BLs with a toxic couple, so it's refreshing that it didn't. Masking a shitty relationship behind heavy plot can get tiring in awhile and I don't like reading a story where I have to hate the MCs.
Also I know ppl call Jay "ugly" (imo not really) but him being not a conventional beauty means he doesn't have that beauty privilege that most readers have on their fav toxic ML. I find it hotter that he actually has good writing. Overall, author did a pretty good job writing their MCs and the tension is great all throughout the seasons. I still highly recommend it after all these years.
