True true. I mean, It'd be even more unsettling if after all that mental breakdowns and Aaron losing his shits trying to find Yujin, that they'd just hug and kiss then live happily-ever-after after reunion. Like...I'd think Aaron is cooking up something even more horrendous to get revenge of Yujin or smth.
from a charac perspective, u can see why Aaron's doing it but from a writing perspective... authors can't be more creative in showing that frustration & anger other than rape & abuse...? lmao I don't think readers were expecting they'd just hug & kiss but then again, how is this any betterT^T it's just lazy writing esp knowing they'd still be endgame after all this unless it ends in tragedy

Am I the only one that don't mind this arc? Like...sure, it's a shame that Aaron turned into a monster like this and there's no excuses that can justify his actions. But, if we consider the emotional turmoil that was happening in his head back when Yujin dissappeared and combined with his background, this arc is pretty realistic(in a sense that we can understand the thought process of why Aaron became like this). I mean, the dude was losing his damn mind (literally). And more than depressed about Yujin's disappearance, he was angry about it. No matter if he understood the "why", he probably still felt like Yujin abandoned him. That's why he resorts to this monstrous tactic to keep Yujin with him now.
But like I said, just because it's understandable it doesn't make it right. I'm still furious at Aaron for turning into a monster. But I don't think the "Author is losing the plot" or "the manhwa is turning into one of those Yaoi slops" like everyone is saying.
