The top was an author and lived in an apartment where the bottom was his upstairs neighbor. The bottom was in an abusive relationship and he (Or the top I honestly forgot) could see like monsters or ghosts that normal ppl couldn't see and this was like the main reason the top got close to him because he was writing horror.
