Not worth it

Ughh I was actually excited to read this one because of the kids edits I saw online, btw they are the only wholesome thing in this whole story.
The couple lacks chemistry, interactions, communication, flashbacks. There was only sex and most of the time the consent was absent as well.
They knew each other since kids but we never get a background of how was that relationship, they seem to be a enemy to lovers type of story but why are they enemies on the first place? Since I started reading I felt that perhaps I was missing a previous story or something
