i think i cried every single volume and i love how the author always ends a story with a bittersweet ending that's usually left to interpretation. each volume's protagonist comes from a different circumstance but when you look at it, none of them are super extreme and are actually quite common, strict parenting, academic pressure, right person wrong time... it really demonstrates how these issues can affect anyone regardless of how extreme their situation is. a lot of the stories also have a counterpart character who doesn't recover from a lot of these struggles, like in the 1st and 3rd volume, and it's usually because they didn't have a proper support system which is truly heartbreaking considering how similar their situations usually are. thsi manga hit so deep
