Why did they rush the Ending?

I genuinely wonder why they rushed it, it was going great i was really invested in the storyline. But then it got cut off short out of nowhere. i expected like a hundred chapters before its finale, but wow, we didn't even get to see the children

If anyone knows why please tell me!! this was a really fun and interesting manhwa i need to know why they put it down so quickly
