I love the design for these two so much, but what a nothing burger ending! I get that it’s a short story, but you get maybe to the antagonist and then (BYE, we done. They’re together. Yay.) it’s so anticlimatic which is SUCH A SHAME becuz the premise is so good!
imo I would’ve even been happy if the resolved it the same way if they just would have fucking decked that prick at least once, the ML had some backbone after his tantrum and feelings, and the MC also got some “revenge” while still having his self esteem issues
