I usually can pinpoint how something will end, but this story makes it really hard, which writing wise is good but right now it’s stressing me out. I can’t really figure out if he’s gonna attempt and succeed and the author really is trying to do that route where he does, because this scene I feel like it REALLY seals it. They’ve usually had these dark moments but the mc can kind of get past it in a way, but after this I think they’ve reached THAT point. There really is no turning back
