this author really just does such a good job how it feels to be so depressed you can barely do anything and the feeling of being so used to your despair alone that you feel so visceral and disgusting for wanting the feeling of warmth of other people. theres so much nuance in being able to depict soemthing like this thats so accurate and close to home its genuinely amazing
