I don't think they ever hated each other st all..I agree that this went off the rails unnecessarily and the dropfrom s1 to s2 will never not be incredibly disappointing bUT I think they made it clear that Dohu loves top(I'm sorry I'm so bad with names) and that top was really hurt only because he loved Dohu BUT he never fully hated him..the last few chapters have been mostly top just accepting and realizing that his fear and negative emotions have come from himself and weren't Dohu's fault
As prev said they never truly hated each other. Dohu realized what he felt was love when it was too late and thats why he was so miserabel. And Juheon was badly hurt but the main reason he kept his distance from Dohu was bcs he feared his family was going to go after Dohu. So he tried to emotionally distance himself and denied his feelings too but deep down he still loved Dohu.
But s2 was an exhausting read with them being toxic to each other and the forceful sex scene was unnecessary af.

maybe it's cuz i'm autistic and none of these mfers write us properly but it went from "oh okay so there's a potential for a misunderstanding here" to a full on toxic relationship that wouldn't work with any amount of suspension of disbelief
i do not believe in the 5 chapters i haven't read between the unofficial and the official that literally anything could happen that didn't happen in the entirety of season 2 or 3 or whatever the entire post-timeskip arc was, to make it suddenly make sense. they still hate each other. they still have not fucking talked. it's just been a lot of hate-bonding (????) and coincidences. and i'm not even sure if a proper conversation happens in those 5 chapters it wouldn't feel thin and tacked on after the everything else
i used to think this had a lot of potential and it feels like an editor or something stepped in and said it needed more drama or something, the author didn't execute the idea well at all.
