That's the thing he was never into raphiel at all he was always in love with Aeroc. When he was with raphiel it was because he was an omega and a good partner for his standing. And he chose raphiel because he looked like aeroc.
this original kloff is such a conflicting character. in the first timeline, even at aeroc’s deathbed when aeroc told him to tell him he loves him even if it is a lie — he didn’t. now in this timeline, he has all the capacity to make things right, if he truly liked rapiel he shouldn’t be obsessing with aeroc.
