The definition of unreliable narrator, nobody fucking knows whats going on here

Now that u mention it, I can't view the term "unreliable narrator" the same anymore because I remember one author who was sharing their experiences mentioned that several of their fans complimented them for writing the 'unreliable narrator' troupe so well, but turns out that wasn't the author's intentions so now they were worrying just how bad their writing skills were for a reader to misunderstand them to that degree
