I feel like its more of the way they brush through your hair searching for one, its not like we usually have that many white hairs maybe just a few but someone fidgeting with your hair can feel good and help you relaxe so i kinda imagined it like that

Oh sweet summer child, when you finally get those grey hairs they are total bastard and hurt like feck to remove. I remember doing it for my mum and now I do it myself and its definitely not a relaxing thing. I could understand if it was running hands through hair but not blooming plucking them
