I must have probably reread this a hundred times (not even exaggerating too much). I started following it while it was still ongoing, and now I feel nostalgic whenever I revisit them. They're lovely, all of the characters. But I was reminded of a feeling as I reread this just now, and not gonna lie- I have and always had slightly bitter feelings for both the eunuch and general Xue. They are somewhat 'possessive' of XY and YHQ respectively, unable to see that their happiness lies in something else and not what they are hoping for them to choose. I did understand where they're coming from, and it's nice how loyal and sincere they are to them. So although it's not hate, I was seriously glaring at them while biting my handkerchief. Oh well, all's well that ends well.
