I saw a few people wonder about it and if him smoking them here in this manhwa has to do with yeonwoo but you see as the story goes on that he doesn’t really interact with the omega complex group anymore outside of like club reunions bc he was younger than them and he found people his age like garam and I’m sure a few others including new club members and also he’s pretty prideful I would say and he doesn’t dwell on the past so why would he smoke them for someone that has a long term boyfriend after 4 years… wouldn’t it make more sense that he smokes them to deal with wooyeon’s pheromones bc u see him smoke it the chapter he interacts with wooyeon LOL he probably just came out bc he wanted to see him bc it’s been years since he saw him and he was probably feeling a lot and needed an excuse to go outside and then in chapter 9 you see the pheromones directly affect him bc wooyeon can’t control them so you can guess it comes out now and then and dohyun needs his cigs to control himself and honestly the novel goes into this more esp when they go in dohyun’s car in like chapter 4 or 5- also the author confirms it’s bc of wooyeon loll she directly says that they’re used to cover up other people’s (wooyeon’s) pheromones and suppress impulses so even the chapter they start dating he’s smoking so much bc he’s excited wooyeon invited him over to his house and wooyeon is in such a good mood that he couldn’t control his pheromones so he was smoking bc he felt like he was going insane and needed to control himself loll and the author ended it saying it’s the same thing every time for dohyun in this manhwa-
