The uke is such an idiot… I understand that he’s been through a lot and that being socially isolated and constantly living with the expectation that he was going to die has left him with some issues. But constantly running away from everything and acting like he’s the only victim is just hurting the people around him the most.
He really seems to think that he’s the one who’s suffering and crying the most, but honestly, the ML deserves so much credit for putting up with all of this. Even when he wasn’t there for the ML during his worst moments, the ML still kept trying to be there for him.
A relationship can’t really work if only one person is constantly giving while the other just keeps taking…
And that ending about how he promised that he would never run again anda nothing bad would ever happen again was just so unsatisfying. I enjoyed the story, but honestly, it was entirely thanks to the ML…
