I'm only 28. Chapters in but yeee, "but it's up to you I won't pressure you" repeatedly??? The alphas behavior is giving manipulative to me with the immediate attraction and constant pushing for the relationship to be further than the omegas ready for. I know the writings intention isn't to make mc unlikable but wdym you saved his life yesterday, pushed him into a sex and relationship yesterday, and then announced yourself as his serious partner to others today???!?!
For some reason, couldn’t get into it despite giving it numerous tries throughout the years.
There is a great expression: ‘Show, don’t tell’, – and this story is not following it at all. Some things are better be relayed by glances, expressions, actions, but all of it is lacking. I kind of get where the Alpha is coming from, but his constant “I won’t pressure you, it’s up to you” is creating quite the opposite picture. It would have been better if he stayed quiet more often, just letting both of them ease into it.
Alpha’s appearance also played a major role in my dissatisfaction. He’s alright, but again, due to how everything is narrated, his charm just evaporates.
As for Omega… Sigh, no, just. Nothing is nothing.
