Ah the context is that Canis the Speaker is a Prequel to Canis Dear Hatter! You can see at the end of Canis in Ch 14 a young Ryo showed up! In Dear Hatter, you see Hal and Nobu as early as Ch 2! The Speaker gives a background to why Hal and Nobu are in the mafia to begin with.
Thank you for the very helpful map on the last chapter... I still don't know how this all connects to the initial characters from the first chapters?
