WHY DO I HAVE A FEELING THAT THE ML MIGHT HAVE GONE THROUGH A PREGNANCY LOSS OR AN ABORTION IN THE PAST??? Like, what if he was pregnant and either miscarried or had to terminate the pregnancy, and THAT'S where all the trauma comes from??? I'm probably overthinking this, but the more I think about it, the more plausible it feels.
