I always extend grace to the main characters and especially the main FL, but I just can't anymore. I've read the first 22 and 1/2 chapters and have to tap out.
The FL is just too naive and kinda stupid at some points. To start, she knows she took over the body of a girl known for stalking the crown prince, so what does she do? Keep appearing before him trying to get him to eat the food she made, even though she knows the original owner of the body did the same thing by try to get him to eat her cookies. Why would she even think he would trust her?
Also, why is the FL the only person who can cook in this whole palace? The military unit is directly under the only prince of this nation, and he can't hire a proper team to feed his soldiers? I would understand it more if they were away from their home in the midst of war, but they're showing up every day to the palace and can't get an edible meal? Ridiculous!
Also, when she finally gets the resolve to resign from the military so that she no longer has to constantly see the prince, two officers thank her for the treats she made, so she gives up immediately. It was just so random and weak that I wanted to roll my eyes at the scene, especially because it's not like we really see her interacting with anyone from the military besides the prince and his aid. So, the scene doesn't really mean much cause they were just two characters who popped out of nowhere.
The final thing that frustrated me about her was that she has a "friend" who has obviously been two-faced to her and those around the FL have warned her about the girl's actions, yet for the shallow reason of the girl smiling brightly at her and saying something nice, the FL refuses to see her true nature. I just can't deal with this lame reason to defend her.
Besides the FL, the ML isn't really anything special and the few supporting characters are pretty meh too. So, when you have a frustrating FL and a below average cast it just really makes it hard to get into. Some people might find enjoyment from this story, but I am not one of them.
