Grayson is a okay-ish character moral wise. He clearly loves Dane a lot like ALOTT but the people who dislike him don’t really “dislike” him if that makes sense. Everyone who feels this way knows and has read the other parts, where Grayson has done weird disgusting shit. Such as being one of the biggest reasons chase was separated by their mom even thought he was the most normal sibling, and then caused chase trauma of dogs and made him think he was some disgusting being who slept with an animal. So your wording of odd and it makes it look like ppl are hating without any reason lol. Grayson is a problematic character and everyone is clearly being playful by being like “yess Dane kick his ass”
The problem is that the reason Chase in itself is a problem. Because most of those who read KMIYC, seem to have problems with reading comprehension. The thing with he dog was explained, but like 99% are unable to retell what happened if you read the comment section, and that is no joke.
It was also pretty clear what Grayson was doing. Was it problematic? Certainly. But evil? No. But so many see Grayson as the villain in that story which is laughable. Since that is not what the author wrote. What most seem to forget is the setting in which the story plays, and how problematic Chase not releasing pheromonnes really is.

Because making Grayson alone reponsible for that....no, that was mainly on Ashley. And Chase the most normal? That's Bliss. Chase just manifested late.
If you actually read LMUIYC, you would surely realized that the whole reason why the siblings were separated from Koi was because of Ashley. He doesn't Koi to be around by the kids even before grayson and stacy gave the cake to Koi. That's the most fcked up thing that Ashley did. Nathaniel, the first child, didn't even received any affections from their parents. All of them actually, except for Bliss. So I really can't understand those people who blamed Grayson for the parents negligence. Also for only seeing the situation as bad for Chase only.
I’ve read their parents novel too a while ago. And he literally separated koi from the main house because he literally almost died girl… imagine being fed poison by your own kids. I even remember in the novel that because of this koi was devastated that he had to leave their youngest son, chase. Chase was uniquely soft-hearted, innocent, and shared Koi’s high emotional sensitivity. This made Koi incredibly protective of him. Grayson was completely unhinged and pure chaotic evil and that’s okay to admit lol. Grayson never had any guilt for his actions. Blaming Ashley for how he turned out is absurd because koi was nothing but affectionate to his kids. Even when Grayson and his evil ahh twin pulled that stunt, koi still didn’t feel any resentful towards them. Grayson and his twin were just born like that, evil and unpredictable. Grayson only starts developing emotions after meeting Dane, but only after he goes through the toxicity Dane puts him through which is deserved. I don’t dislike Grayson, desire me if you can if one of my fav novels from this universe but let’s not downplay how evil Grayson was because he definitely was the root of the cause in some aspects in others lives.
How about before that poisoned incident? What's your view about Ashley's thought about his children including Chase? Surely you have something in your sleeves to defend him. Fyi, I don't downplay all the wrongdoings of Grayson but blaming him alone for all the shit things that happen to Chase???? Ashley only did a move when Koi was the one who got hurt but he didn't do that when Chase was almost died from the twins. Look at the problem here. Don't gloss out the bad parenting of ashkoi.
I haven't even include how he makes Nathaniel to extract his pheromones at the pheromones party at the age of 13????? But ofc you only see the struggle of the young Chase, not the other kids.
You know that if Ash acknowledged Chase as a normal one, no matter how evil young grayson is, he wouldn't separate him to Koi. Ash has this fear for dominant alpha because of Dominic Miller, he has a prejudice towards the alphas and his children are no exception to it. Even if the poison part didn't happen, Ash won't let any children come near his partner, especially when they resembles himself perfectly. It's so funny to not understand this part and only blame a one character for all the bullshit that another character has went through.
Ppl hating on grayson are not ready. I cant wait for them to eat their words. Hes the most romantic sibling
