I just finished rereading lol.. so adam is now remembering their first meeting and first gate experience.. in first season it was their second meeting already but after this gate accident ig smth happened because adam cant remember all things about eve and its said eve has manipulated his own memories(adam’s memories too) so he forgot all about adam and about that thing that he can read others memories.. in present timeline they are trying espers to become part of society but ig we need to see what happened to the past because there was glimpses of smth that happened to adams’s leg and eye . And maybe he tried to kill himself too after gate accident and eve manipulated his memories somehow.. we will see these details and explanations in this season ig. Also doctor mentioned that eve’s first emotion was ,,envy” so yea that additional information for you haha .. hope it was clear
