ugh this is just me being picky but i hate it when authors treat their readers like babies. they introduce this concept of phantasmal beasts and their partners who are called “prophets”. guess what a prophet is? a person who can see the future. guess who can see the future? the mc. the prophet’s blood can cure any injury or disease of the phantasmal beast. guess what happened? winter’s wounds were “magically” healed (most likely because he touched or drank the mc’s blood) and wow! what creature is likely a phantasmal beast? the white lion! what creature is winter? a white lion! damn, could they spell it out any easier? i hate when they just spoon feed readers lore. takes the fun and guessing out of it. i think the story is very cute and the mc is lovable but just this random lore dropwas annoying because they didn’t even take the time to set it up or expose it little by little. within one chapter, it’s already clear that the mc is a prophet whose partner is winter (a phantasmal beast) and they’re gonna have this mark of servitude and she’s gonna be able to use mana to mark the mana stones or whatever
