Storyline development huge spoilers ahead:

Currently reading the novel got through a huge chunk still going but I decided to explain what’s going to happen in next 30 chapters I presume some of this information may be distorted due to the fact that I skimmed a lot of important information due to violence :{. But from chap 52 it seems that it’s going to focus on another punishment scene but it’s going to be important scenes of dialogue between characters within the scene as another character (Main guy from the gang rape is re introduced). After discussions that reveal a lot, park j and Kim j eventually leave the pub ( current scene of chap 52). Which they have an argument regarding gang rape man ( they give him a name in the novel but i forgot.) also we are introduced to a new important character, he’s introduced as park j older brother, but their not related from what i read so far just think of him as park j mentor and we’ll call him M for now. After their park j and Kim j argue it leads to assault in ( in a public area mind you) we get our first flashbacks where we piece the back story together. As you probably know from other comments Kim j assaulted park alongside his friends while recording the assault and sshowing it so his mother, what you probably didn’t know what that park j and Kim j were friends, with some homo tendicies hidden amongst the two (very minor). While others noticed it and laughed about park j and Kim j didn’t really care. One night the two got drunk and park j accidentally confessed his feelings as he had a crush on him since the day the met, (this is happening in middle school). Words gets out then eventually the assault happens. Back in present time Kim j is back in the red room, after a couple of days park j leaves Kim j phone in there, and his friend ( the weird small one) contacts him and plans a way for him to help him. Kim j naively believes him plans his escape and goes to the place his friend tells him, a white van pulls up with his friend in it and also the main guy from they gang rape who we will call seo, ‘friend’ pressures Kim j into following them despite his literal rapist being in the car, he eventually goes and is brought to ‘friends’ family villa. Where Kim j finds out seo and ‘friend’ will help him escape park j as long as they let them rape him (sure okay?). Kim j is obviously like wtf no but seo is a dirtbag so he’s tried raping him anyway but just before it can happen park j somehow finds them, but alongside with him is M, M takes seo away but park j is a dirty ass bitch so he makes ‘friend’ along side with himself rape Kim j. At this point in park j’s head he’s like there’s no saving him and that he’s finally going take revenge on Kim, as if the past 2 months didn’t exist?? After the rape is done he takes him to a warehouse. Now I’m about to put a massive trigger warning cause it’s sick I myself couldn’t read it all because of how sick it is. Takes Kim j to a warehouse with Like 6-7 other dudes that were I think old acquaintances of Kim j, not including park j and M from their the men gang rape him if you thought the previous gang rape was sick it gets even sicker here, basically they lynch him, stick a bat inside of him, punch him till he vomits, stick objects inside of his urethra, humiliate and basically treat him like a sex toy, all while this happening park j is having a bull shit dialogue with M, about how Kim j deserves this and that he did this to him and we get another flashback, when park j is in the hospital shortly after kim j assaulted him because his mom was shown the vid and got weak And needed to be hospitalised while walking around the hosiptal he meets M, M already knew Kim J as they were both like delinquents had fights with each other or whatever, and M knows what Kim j did to park j and he’s like egging him on to get revenge but park j surprisingly doesn’t want to at first, but then it’s revealed that Kim j is also at the hospital because he got into an incident where got amnesia, suprise suprise Kim j didn’t remeber what he did to park j because he had literal brain amnesia not becuase he was an idiot or a jackass. So park j visits him Kim j and and Kim doesn’t even remember meeting him, so they have a somewhat friendly and humorous convo and then park j hits kim j with reverse psychology and is like “if someone did something bad to you and they forgot their memory of doing that would you still seek revenge?” And Kim j answers stupidly (not to victim blame just probably drugged out of his mind) “well yeah obviously” and right there park j is like you know what I do wanna get revenge maybe not now but someday. So along side M they plot revenge for nearly 8 years like son. Back to present park j is basically telling this story to Kim j and he’s like you know what I do remember your crazy ass (while being ganged raped somehow?) he blacks out and then he’s taken to the hospital by park j and somehow nobody really questions anything?? While Kim j is knocked tf out fighting for his life, he’s dreaming about park j when they were in middle school, and park j is beside him like I did my revenge so I should leave him right? But we all know that this wasn’t simply revenge but a sick man releasing his trauma onto a man, mainly because of being betrayed and still loving him despite this. Kim j bird ass wakes up and apologises for what he did years ago and their both let’s stay together and forget what happened. So yeah this is where I’m up to in the novel a lot to take in but I mostly did this to see if waiting this story would develop and so far it’s not worth, now I’m somewhat drunk and probably made a lot of mistakes so feel free to correct me, this is what happens in th novel and may change in this actual story :/ but I doubt that since there hasn’t been many changes in what has actually happened feel free to ask question as this is skimmed down and stuff may not make sense.
