everyone keep saying 'js tell him' n shit, confessing something to someone whose not even quite sure about you is SO FUCKING HARD YOU KNOW? especially, someone like the ml, gosh idk if he's really into the mc or just keeps playing, I ain't having none of it. nonetheless, i will just keep hoping that they are sure of eachother, and eventually confess their love to eachother when the perfect time comes. i hate sudden confessions.

I think Ml is genuine to Mc but I think he's just waiting for Mc to really open up to him and realise his feelings. Since we can see that Ml is very cunning, he probably knows Mc are still hesitant to his feelings.

see? i mean, what the heck is he waiting for? he should do the first move when it comes to expressing feelings.

Sorry but i don't think you understand, it's hard to commit to someone who's hesitant about their feelings, but lets just say, yes, he finally tells him. Mc will just feel reassure about his feelings because he knows the name thing, however, he never got the reassurance he really in the first place, like whether he really likes Ml, or whether Ml truly likes him.

ML wants MCs to love him ML doesnt necessarily believe in the power of names and is testing that theory. If people love each other regardless of whether or not they have the social implication of fated names

I think you are misattributing the root cause of this emotional stalemate. My point from the very beginning has been that expecting someone to confess when they feel entirely insecure about where they stand is fundamentally unfair. You mention that it is hard to commit to someone who is hesitant, but you are overlooking why Han-yeong is hesitant in the first place: it is a direct consequence of Cheong-hyeon’s calculated ambiguity.

By characterizing the ML as 'cunning' and waiting for the MC to open up, you are inadvertently validating my argument that he is playing emotional chess. In any relationship, but especially one plagued by the systemic inequality of a Nameverse, withholding the truth to force the other person to break first isn't patience—it’s psychological manipulation.

Cheong-hyeon holds all the cards. He knows about the Name, yet he deliberately maintains a facade of indifference. For Han-yeong to confess under those conditions wouldn't be 'opening up'; it would be an act of reckless emotional self-sabotage. Expecting the MC to offer blind vulnerability to a partner who refuses to showhis hand is a double standard. The burden of the first move inevitably falls on the one who created the lack of clarity, which is why Cheong-hyeon's silence makes him the primary architect of this entire frustration

Sorry for asking this since I'm not fluent enough in English, so I might have misunderstood something, but when you saw those "js tell him" comments, did you perhaps think that they were hoping for Hanyeong to confess? Because I think they meant Cheonghyeon should tell Hanyeong the truth about the name mark
