He was same in season 1 because he couldn't give eve guiding like he wanted so he drug himself until he collapse and began losing his senses he is same with or with out his memories , I understand he wanted help but he will become literally useless if he continues to drug himself (⊙…⊙ ), now I understand why eve decided to deletehis memories of his past (⊙…⊙ ) Because if I was eve I wouldn't want those memories too
