The story setting was unique and I really had high hopes for this. But the execution wasn't well thought off. The romance felt very surface level and superficial tbh. The development of the relationship between the leads were sooo fast that it felt overbearing and I couldn't connect that much. Yes the alpha was a total greenflag. And he was HOT as hell with a slight old vibe. I absolutely loved him. But the romance development felt very sloppy. I couldn't feel the emotional connection.
Also I think the villain story had so much potential to explore more but it was resolved very sloppily and fast. This villain arc was very intriguing. The author couldn't explore it properly.
All in all not a bad read but I would say a wasted potential.
