I don't understand why the dog is still there after the time skip. They immediately sent a letter to his homeland and 2 years later he's still bound by her side?? Plus the time skip itself is so unecessary, what did it even accomplish besides skipping the frienship/bond forming between her tha the dog man, going straight to 'yeah they've been allies for 2 years now'
