I feel that same way too . Nagisa’s mom is totally correct in wanting her son’s horizon to expand beyond his hometown or even his boyfriend.
Like I understand that’s Also love to wait and cheer for the person you love while they are exploring their passion but I hope that the author also showus a side of Nagisa being fulfilled by something other than the sème ( I love him but I forgot his name ) - they mentioned him wanting to be a teacher once but never again , but they talked a lot about his love for football maybe that will be something more in the future .
But I still love seeing them just living , laughing and loving . So that still ok , I guess
Nagisa is still young and haven't found the passion issa found in fishing, I wish to see nagisa outside of issa's world I want to see him enjoy something like for example soccer, I want to see that be explored and expand cause nagisa can't just wait around for issa that's lonely and kind of sad, even if you were to love a person so much you pick them being happy over being together that is going to take a toll on your love, you can't just wait around for that person and not expect to break that's why I don't want this to end just yet cause for me the scale is not very balance.
Issa gets to enjoy his passion in life and have the person he loves be there to wait, cheer and encourage him while nagisa have nothing, yes I know they love each other very much but issa has love other than nagisa. I am not blaming issa at all I know he would dropanything if nagisa were to ask him to but because nagisa loves him to much to ask something like that he's the one left silently suffering, the first few chapters of volume two were nagisa avoids even mentioning issa leaving left such a deep impression on me and I wish it would be explored more.
I don't even know what i'm rambling about but yeahh just my opinion don't flame me ya'll I love them but just sayingg a relationship like this is bound to break one way or another.
