I don't get it why y'all are saying that tae should have just said that he was not running away when he got a chance to , but dudeee it's obvious that tae was not even able to talk properly cause of that damn gloves that was in his mouth for so long so obviously he was tired, out of breath, and dehydrated and when he finally mustered all his voice obviously he would say what ilay wanted to hear.
