I've had this bookmarked for YEARS, and I typically don't reach quickly for "mainstream" BLs right away. But BOY was this so good. Incredible characters, tragic plot. Yes there was a lot of rape, but it helped move the story, it wasn't there just for horniess.
I think they did the amnesia part really well, and I was so surprised. The debacle between wanting Jooha to gain all his memories VS just let the boy be happy was super profound and deep. If he didn't recover his memories it would have been beautifully tragic
