since everyone in the comments is confused asf if this has been dropped or not, this series has been on indefinite hiatus since around 2020 bc the author wanted to focus on their other work (play it cool guys). this is a statement from the authors twitter ab it from 2021, sorry if the translation is bad grok sucks lol
(tweet 1) "Thank you for your question [The Net Generation Teacher] is currently on hiatus. I can't go into detail about the reason just yet, but I think I'll be able to share more specifics in the future! Right now, [Play it Cool Guys] is taking priority, so it's on a break. The number of volumes until completion is still undecided!"
(tweet 2) "Writing "reason for hiatus" makes it sound like something bad has happened behind the scenes, but it's simply that [Play it Cool Guys] has ended up with a bunch of extra work outside of manga production, like merch development and such, so I'm pausing trying to juggle both until things settle down!"

play it cool guys has been on (unannounced) hiatus since 2022ish (assuming the author got busy with merch production and the anime adaptation, but the author hasn’t actually said why). i doubt we will get any more of this series until that one is completed, and i stalked tf out of the authors twitter and this was the last time i could find that they mentioned this one. i don't know if/when this will resume but i rlly hope it does eventually :,)
