Yandere level-wise actually Ilay isn't really THAT harsh. I've known worst and the worst thing Ilay did was rape, but he still makes sure Tae feels pleasure. Ilay even probably thinks that's supposed to be romantic
It's just that we all soft for Tae. And looking back Tae's crying really brings down the tolerance level for the readers cause we always picture him as strong minded. In the end he's just a human and he is actually very fragile despite he tough demeanor
With that said their relationship really has a loooong way to go. Both is prideful and unlike a certain someone I know, who'll prefer to act like a dog and quietly follow their lover(Zhenya), Ilay is still too controlling. Heard it takes him 2 more sequels to fix his shit
