I kinda don't blame him for the internalized homophobia. It seems like school as a Korean American has been difficult for him all throughout his childhood from both teachers and peers. Even with his star role in athletics, he's still got people making fun of him for hanging around Morgan. I hope Morgan can become a pillar of strength for Eugene so he can truly become his truest self without feeling judgement
