I think part of it has to do with the fact that a lot of authors try but end up being cringy but I miss the pet names especially as an American I can’t really hear “eunhyusoo~” as a moan ┗( T﹏T )┛ but “mittens, princess (to a man), honey “ I love it when they do it
that's why i adore paws and claws. i love how chiyoung is always calling uke (i've forgotten his name from how little his name is said) boy so affectionately. it's so playful and adorable. even in the unofficial translation he gets called pup/puppers and i fucking melt. bring back pet names
