Although Ouinton definitely went too far and is a bit in the wrong here, whatever he said is so true man. The mother's are the ones who have to bear the child for months, go through painful labour, take care of them and nurture them, have permanent changes happen in their body and mind due to the pregnancy and they do all that while taking shit from other people about how they won't be able to focus on work cus now they have a child in their life (if they are working) or how they are expected to look after their child as if it is their responsibility only and nothing that deserves praise (if they aren't working). They go through all that and then a man comes and takes in all the credit or get equal credit for doing next to nothing. Cus if a man is looking after their child it isn't expected of them, it's smth deserving of praise. If they have a child, then they aren't told to focus on their child more rather than work cus ofc they have a convenient person at home doing all the work for them. It takes two to make a child yet somehow it only takes one when it comes to childcare. We go through all this bs only to be told this is just how it is and how god or fucking nature made us to be. It is our role and duty. Like stfu no it isn't
