I should’ve seen that age gap coming….that first flashback of them shocked me so much because she literally looks like toddler T.T He basically saw her grow up, although he wasn’t always present….but it just can’t be justified at all. By the time she’s 18 at the start he is about to enter or is in his 30’s. Goodness how did they even work out? She didn’t even get to start her life and was thrown into marriage, how could he possibly develop feelings for her because even if a few years pass it doesn’t change what I’ve mentioned, him seeing her grow up. I do want to also thank everyone’s input on explaining that a lot gets addressed in the manga, I really appreciate the author taking on such a heavy dark part of history. I am just unable to accept their relationship in the slightest </3
